The chapel season came to a close on April 6 with lunch at Plan B Tavern in West Hartford, CT. It was a tremendous year in Hartford with chapels averaging 6-8 in attendance.
There were a total of 24 chapels in Hartford and I also did 4 chapels in Adirondack New York as well as 3 chapels in Portland Maine. Pastor Bob Switzer of Wellspring Church and Chico Resch were guest speakers in Hartford this season and the players really enjoyed each of their portions. There were a total of 19 different players that attended chapel this year in Hartford, 3 faithful players in Adirondack and 6 in Portland. After the holidays, we decided to switch our Hartford chapel time from before practice to after practice. Lunch was provided by an anonymous donor for each of these after practice chapels. We were all extremely blessed by this generous gift!
As I look ahead to camp season rapidly approaching, I ask you for your prayer support for the children and staff, as well as the pro’s that are preparing to attend the many various camps this year. I myself will be attending Fargo ND from July 5th-10th, College Station TX from July 25th-30th and I will splitting the week of July 11th-16th between Pittsburgh PA and Boston MA. I also am asking for prayer for me during this month of July….. Specifically for traveling mercies, health and strength for my back as I will be sleeping in dormitory beds, and most importantly, for God to use me in the lives of the people He puts in my path.
