The end of the year is upon us and we reflect on the goodness of God and the blessings received even in these difficult times. We were recently blessed to receive the following letter:
“As the wife of a hockey player, Hockey Ministries has touched my life in many ways that I didn't think possible. Before this year began, my husband did not completely share my views on religion or spirituality, as he never had the time to go to Church due to his hectic schedule, or the opportunity to discover God on an intimate level.
Throughout the year, with your unwavering support, he began attending meetings regularly, and was able to use what you taught him on and off the ice. The change I saw in him over this past year has been incredible. Our relationship has grown to an even deeper level of understanding, and the negativity that he once felt, has now become purely positive. In closing, his favorite quote from your teachings this year was "bloom where planted." Now, no matter what situation he is put in, he looks for the positive and knows that he will excel. Hockey Ministries not only helps them become better players, but changes their lives, and the lives of people around them.
For that I couldn't be more grateful or supportive of this program.
Thank you,
Ashley Williams"
Now is the time of year that many of you enjoy the blessings of giving.
Please join us in this effort to spread the Good News to those that may look like they have everything, but still have an emptiness that money and fame cannot fill.
Special gifts of any monetary amount are always a blessing, while a monthly pledge allows the opportunity for a future plan. There is no monthly dollar amount too small to make a difference. Hockey Ministries International is a 501c3 registered organization.
