Mid Season Update

This season has being an exciting and challenging one. Many teams(about 26) have a strong chapel program running in the AHL but there are a still that need prayer. A couple of teams just started running after the holidays with many phone calls and a lot of prayer. In Hartford and New York chapels have been awesome. We have had up to 16 players in Hartford for chapel and the lunches that the players and their wives have provided are a blessing. In NY there are a lot more distractions but a core group of players (around 4) are committed in attending the program.
We just completed our staff meeting in Ottawa Canada this past weekend. Meeting with our group of is an awesome time. To hear what God is doing in the hockey world and in players lives is a real blessing. The HMI All Star Breakfast on Saturday was a great time with players testimonies and All Star goalie from the Boston Bruins Tim Thomas in attendance. About 650 people heard the gospel on that morning in Ottawa. Well, we are entering the second half of the season and I am sure God has some great plans for his workers.
