Dawn and I attended the recent All Star Events in Hershey, PA as guests of the American Hockey League, representing Hockey Ministries International. The All Star Events included a Welcome Reception, Skills Competition, AHL Hall of Fame Induction, All Star Game and Post Game Party.

The players selected for the Allstar Team are the best the AHL has to offer. It was a blessing to see that 10 of the 48 players are chapel attendees on their home teams. HMI was certainly represented well at these events. With the help of their home chaplains, each attendee was invited to a a time of Morning Prayer before the business of the day. It was awesome to see what God is doing in the hearts of these young men. Rick even recieved a special request for a time of prayer over the phone by a player that could not attend the group prayer time.
